Our Process

Every project begins with a free consultation. Before listening to the room, we want to listen to YOU. Our goal is to establish a deep understanding of your vision so we can partner with you in bringing your vision to life.

01  Acoustic Analysis

  • For existing facilities, we schedule an initial site visit to analyze the space with our world-class measurement equipment.
  • Once on-site, we perform a null analysis of all measurement equipment in the signal path to account for any variances imparted by gear -- yours or ours.
  • After a null baseline is established, we conduct frequency sweeps of the room to record its frequency response and RT60 (reverb) times. Clients receive a copy of this report.
  • This process gives us the critical forensic data we need to move on to phase two: design & treatment.

02  Design & Treat

  • From phase one's acoustic analysis, we can accurately assess the room's acoustic properties, identifying problem frequencies and temporal challenges.
  • Based on our initial consulation, we find the balance between your goals and what is achievable, given your unique space, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
  • We begin designing an acoustic treatment solution that best meets your unique needs. This is an iterative process that involves you at every step.
  • Once we finalize the design, we can perform critical parts of the installation and/or assist any construction manager or contractors you choose.

03  Validate & Adjust

  • Upon build completion, we repeat the acoustic analysis process to validate the results of treatment.
  • At this stage we analyze the measurements. Often, new acoustic anomalies may arise, requiring minor adjustments.
  • Adjustments are made and a final acoustic analysis is performed to validate the adjustments.
  • Clients receive a copy of the final report, verifying succesful completion of the project.

Our rates are very affordable compared to many of the larger players in the acoustic consulting space. We offer a discount for tax-exempt organizations that would otherwise fall within the commercial category.
